Dear Team Member,
Let me begin by introducing our Spiritual Director, Myron Jones. I feel blessed to have Myron providing leadership for this weekend.
I’ve posted new prayer partners, a few of the job assignments, a partial schedule and assorted other things on our website at www.kairosbartlett.org I need for everyone to look over the job assignments and let me know if you have a problem with what you’ve been assigned. I know that not all the inside team have assignments yet, but I hope to have that well before the Weekend.
I have also posted a new version of the Prayer Chain (A bright soul asked “why don’t you put the dates instead of Thus Fri Sat and Sunday?”) I’ve also posted an online closing form and an online team application.
The scriptures for the team meeting are on the web site as well. Please write them on 3x5 card and come prepared to discuss 1 Corinthians 2:1-3 and Ephesians 5:20.
Please bring a soft drink and snacks for the morning. We will be eating barbeque & white bread from a local restaurant. Please bring some side dish that will go with Links and Brisket. If you’d rather have chicken please let me know Saturday morning. A freewill offering will cover the cost.
Please be in prayer for your prayer partner, the team, and for the men that God will be sending us.
PS If you have someone whom you have invited to join us, please have them fill out an application online so that I will know to expect them. If anyone has received a letter from TDCJ about training, I would like to know that as well. PPS I have posted some pictures from an earlier Hughes weekend on that website.
